Indian rupee depreciates towards UAE dirham in early commerce – Khaleej Instances

The Indian rupee depreciated 10 paise to 79.88 towards the US greenback (21.76 versus the UAE dirham) in opening commerce on Wednesday monitoring the energy of the buck within the abroad market and agency crude oil costs.
On the Indian interbank international alternate, the rupee opened at 79.83 towards the US greenback, then fell to 79.88 towards the buck, registering a decline of 10 paise over the past shut.
On Tuesday, the rupee had settled at 79.78 towards the American foreign money.
Nonetheless, the greenback index, which gauges the buck’s energy towards a basket of six currencies, fell 0.16 per cent to 107.02.
International oil benchmark Brent crude futures superior 0.13 per cent to $104.54 per barrel.
